Press Releases
Murray Hill and New Providence, N.J., January 19, 2012 - Linde North America, a member of The Linde Group, today announced that Earl Lawson, Vice President, Energy Solutions for Linde North America, will deliver a keynote presentation at the 2012 Natural Gas Vehicle (NGV) Infrastructure Conference in Houston, Texas on January 24, 2012. Liquefied natural gas (LNG) and compressed natural gas (CNG) offer environmentally and economically superior alternatives, and their use is growing rapidly. But their widespread adoption requires development of critical infrastructure to ensure fuel is available where and when needed.
In his presentation, Lawson notes that interest in natural gas powered vehicles is accelerating. He discusses the key challenges of converting to NGV fleets, including the need for long-term safety and reliability of supply at reasonable cost within an efficient business infrastructure. Partnering with the right supplier can greatly facilitate the complex conversion process while ensuring efficiency and ease-of-use.
“Companies making the switch to NGV need complete solutions that make converting attractive and easy. Linde is an ideal partner—LNG and CNG are our heritage,” Lawson comments. “Linde has a worldwide presence along with the diverse skills needed to meet customer needs. We were a pioneer in supplying LNG and CNG—with more than four decades of experience in building plants and safely supplying LNG and CNG to industries globally. We help NGV customers get started and offer assistance throughout the development cycle.”
Linde builds, owns and operates more than 1,000 cryogenic production facilities and manages several million deliveries of cryogenic gases annually. It can produce LNG at any scale using all commercial technologies from virtually any methane source.
